PINELANDS/DAGGERS/DEAD TIRED/RSO/SEA CREATURE SHOW

well this show fucking ruled. had a great time and saw so many crucial people.

PINELANDS. this band was cool, had that quicksand vibe to them. i was digging it, too bad not to many people got to see them. it was like they started playing and there was like 4 people there, and then by the end of their set it was packed.

DAGGERS. stole the fucking show. geoff has the biggest drum set in the world, 2 full stacks. one basement, fuck. so complete shredding, grotzky kill it. garrett and pete shredded. i love these guys and this band. i got whisky and beer spit directly in my face and i loved every second of it. cocaine motorbike.

DEAD TIRED. way better then the last time i saw them, people were into it and losing it, it ruled. bands growing on me.

RSO. i was so drunk by the time they played i dont really remember any of it, other then they played really solid and i believe they did a supertouch cover, or said they would and i remember stage diving twice and just falling. i dont even know man.

SEA CREATURE. i was tripped out with the lights off and the projector. heavy heavy jams. i couldnt really watch the whole time cause i couldnt get in the room. so good.

MACHINE. machine was spinning records in the other room, and it was killer, got in and out.

then we went over to MACHINES place to go watch this dj from ireland, whose name i cant remember. it was like techno and hard house stuff, i was loosing it.

great time seeing all the daggers dudes and meeting a bunch of people. life ruled.

JJs open mic nights rule. 2 am crew, jinx, everybody awesome. come out, have fun every wednesday night.

also, division east records is doing big things. solid guys, i cant say enough. heres a video from the j dilla tribute show, shape, the man from somewhere else, gdp. cant touch this.
