so im home for spring break and just relaxing. its nice for once. my laptop is all fucked so i havent had more chances to update but i saw this on my brothers computer and just had to post it.
On 1988, july 23, Bruce Springsteen skipped a VIP-arrangement during his tour in Denmark and took a walk down the street. There he met the street musician John Magnusson and asked him if he could borrow one of his guitars. Apparently they played a few songs together while about 50 people stopped around and listened to the music.
that guy just rules. he plays the river by the way, if you dont want to watch it.

TUNAGE
i havent updated in a while. ive been listening to a lot of music and writing black metal riffs. here are some things that are great:
new order playing age of consent live in 1984 on bbc radio. my favorite song.
new order perfect kiss 10 minute video
I KNOW YOU KNOWWWWWWWWW FUCK
jason from kid dynamites new bad lagrecia acoustic sesh
catchy stuff.
also i've been at alot of shows recently. here are some of them
this was like 2 weeks ago.
zhenia golov
i hate this
killin it
seasick
vitamin x.
the show ruled. i hate this was really sweet thrash, killin it ruled as always, and zhenia golov was great. i left early to head up to north jersey to watch boxing and kimbo slice at the dowd residence. the show ruled though
next day
micheal and the jordans
guilt trip
dead tired
killin it
scheisse minelli
this show was a ton of fun. micheal and the jordans ripped for a band that said the dude singing wasnt the singer and it was a fill in bass player. covered attitude. it ruled. guilt trip was heavy and awesome. i really like this band and their demo
dead tired was a lot o fun, im starting to really get into this band. i broke my glasses during their set and it was a bum out. scheisse minelli played and they ruled. they were from germany and their guitar player got fucked at customs and had to go back, so the singer played guitar and sang. that was really cool. covered gg allin and everyone lost it. killin it played, the whole place was crazy, people loosing it so hard. it was awesome.
i think even before that was another great show at the moldhole.
pinelands
daggers
dead tired
sea creature
rso
maybe someone else played i dont know, i ended up getting hammered drunk and i dont really remember sea creatures set or half of dead tired, but it was cool. pinelands had a gnarly quicksand sound. daggers shredded forever, best doods best tunes. someone else definitely played but i cant remember
me and marta went and saw
higher giant
lagrecia
the ergs
gaslight anthem
loved ones
higher giant was ernie from grey areas new band. it was rockin. lagrecia as i stated before was cool. the ergs are always a great time. gaslight anthem had the whole place loosing it. we left part way through the loved ones, we were tired and hungry.
last week i went in the killin it bus down to
guilt trip
killin it
sea creature
mother night
staring problem
had been looking forward to this show for like a month. guilt trip ruled again. killin it was sick, got a 2nd guitar player and i could actually hear the vocals, i was psyched. sea creature, i felt like i should have been really into it but it was kinda light for me if that makes sense. mother night was heavy, the one guitar was super loud though and drowned out a lot of the other guitars. staring problem played the best set and i blacked out mentally moshing for a solid 5 minutes loosing it. it ruled.
tommorow im gonna go see
dead tired
the measure
for science
the ergs
the show is gonna be fun. i've been going to so many shows lately. it fucking rules. i just love listening to music. im bummed i couldnt see boris last night but what can you do
here is a few videos from the show at the knitting factory
